People say that stars should have different standards than the rest of the world well I don't think that is true at all. I think that stars and all the other people in the world should be held to the same standards. This essay is going to give you the reason for why I think this statement is true. Here are three of them.
My first reason is that they are human beings just like us they are just more know and that doesn't give them an excuse to do stupid things. Some stars do drugs or make stupid comments. If any one else in the world did this they would be criticized or sent to jail, but if stars did it they are criticized but then it is forgotten and if they do drugs they usually get a fine or something like that.
My next reason is they think that money will buy them out of the things they do. Like for example Nike bought that video of Lebron James getting dunked on but the story still got out. They used there money to try and cover up something but it didn't work. Of course that isn't the worst story of a celebrity trying to cover up something that they couldn't with money.
My last reason is that they need to be held to the same standard so they won't do as many stupid things. For example if they were held to a standard were being nice was good then if they weren't nice they wouldn't make it as a star. This would happen because people wouldn't want to be a fan of someone that if they asked for a autograph they wouldn't want the person to blow them off. If someone in the real world did this the would have no friends what so ever.
These are my reasons for why celebs should be kept to the same standards. I hope you side with me. Thank you for reading.

Good job, I feel like I am not just reading a paper but that I am understanding where you are coming from. I would be careful with the commonly confused words such as, there and their. Other than that this is very fun to read.

ReplyDeleteTry to make your conclusion a little longer by actually restating your reasons why you think celebrities should be held to the same standard as everybody else.
